2015 Georgia Mountain Rally (GMR)

Posted by

Wow what a great Rally! The weather was perfect, it just doesn't get any better.

Music was nice

Food was awesome

Many thanks to the BMW Motorcycle Club Of Georgia for hosting and to the many volunteers for making this possible.

We had a great turnout at our booth with the full launch of our Mesh Monster LED Headlight and our new 1156/1157 leds.  Some highlights.

H7 Mesh Monster installed in a 2015 BMW GS Water Boxer. The owner is a retired LEO and Coastie who didn't choose the OEM LED headlight when he purchased the bike.  He was very excited to find out about our LED headlight, even more so after he rode the bike at night.  The beam pattern was better than the stock halogen with much improved output.  Installation was a breeze, he choose to convert the low beam only during the rally.

Even old street glides can use an upgrade in lighting.  This customer used the H4 Mesh Monster in a very shallow bucket. It fit fine with no encumbrances.  Earlier his girlfriend had purchased an LED headlight to upgrade her F650GS.

The side lights are sealed beam otherwise he would have converted to LED!

This customer arrived after having just gotten a ticket by the local PO for a burnt our headlight low beam.  He was stunned (as were others in the area) by the result after installing our H7 Mesh Monster in his K1200LT low beam.

Low beam

Low(led) and high beam(halogen)

K1300GT one LED on high beam (the other bulb is halogen), low beam off. This customer was the Rally Master (thanks Don), the result with 3 H7 Mesh Monsters was amazing.  Great beam pattern, very clean light.

R1200RT brake light upgrade.  This bike uses two 1156 bulbs for the brake, the computer reduces voltage to the lights for a running/tail light and then sends full voltage for brake light. One halogen(right) and one LED(left).

Blinker upgrade with our new 1156 LED bulb. R1200RT with one normal bulb (right side) and one LED( left side).  The led fills the blinker reflector and is much brighter from all directions.
