A little work and it is installed in a sealed bezel on a 1975 TS 400.

I have two of these in my Honda FIT and they are amazingly bright. I have a Native H4R2 in my Royal Enfield and that works just as well. With both the stock beams are consistent in terms of coverage, but brightness and clarity due to the daylight color spectrum is greatly enhanced. They just drop right in and work.

I would easily recommend this light. Much flood-ier than what I had before and an easy drop-in replacement. Only weirdness is a small dark spot at the apex of the throw. It doesn't really affect anything but is just different.

Installation was easy. Now I can run other electrical doodads. Best of all riding at night is much safer with a lot more light.

This is a drop-in for the small headlight bucket on my Xcountry. It's oriented with the low beam on top and the high beam on the bottom. It's bright and white and less than half the electrical consumption than the oem halogen (26 vs 55 watts). The lamp itself feels like a quality item. I haven't driven in the dark yet but I expect it will be fine - if not I'll post a follow up. I am looking more for conspicuity than lighting up the night.

This is a nice upgrade for my GS500. Can see much better at night. Easy to install, took about 15 minutes. Highly recommended.
