We've taken the best of our H4 Rev2 and our Mesh Monster, added some upgrades and came up with our H4 Rev3. The Best LED Headlight on the market!
+Awesome beam pattern - Low beam provides a distinct cutoff with the high beam stacked on top of the low beam.
Low Beam - 3500 lumens @ 1.5 amps / 20 watts from the single upward oriented Cree LED (same orientation as our H4 Rev2)
High Beam - 4800 lumens @ 2.2 amps / 30 watts from a second downward facing Cree LED. The downward facing high beam led fills the headlight reflector and puts the high beam directly on top of the low beam, making for the best LED headlight pattern we've seen.
+ Both LEDs are on with high beam.
+ Maleable Mesh heatsink makes use of available space.
+ Grommet provided for installations that have a cover or cap behind the headlight. The mesh will protrude from the cover, how much depends on the cap height or distance from the back of headlight.
+5700k color temperature
+30,000 hour expected life.

I had the Native H4 bulb previously, but I didn't like three things about it: 1) the bulb fan which could be heard at times, and 2) how the bulb seemed to shine UP only, whether in low or high beam mode, and 3) on my bike (R Nine T) it required removing the branded BMW roundel that is within the headlight housing. The solution? Try the H4 R3 LED Headlight. It's much simpler up front, but arguably more complicated behind the headlight bucket -- and more difficult to fit into tight spaces. In my housing, however, the front the bulb fit perfectly with the BMW roundel still in place. The portion of the bulb behind the housing took some configuring to fit. The electronics were easily moved to one side, and the heatsinks fit best when I had ONE weave bend downward, and the other two weaves bend upward. Still a tight fit, but it works....even after a recent 1200 mile trip. Works great, incredibly bright, and completely silent. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

I recently purchased a 1996 R110RT. It had an aftermarket blue style halogen lamp installed. The first ride was at night and I could not see a thing. I went home and re-aligned it. Still no good. I installed the H4 R3 LED and what a difference. I had to fine tune the headlight assembly. I dont even need high beams, its incredible. Im looking forward to testing out any of their next designs. Now, I want to discuss an LED alternative for my 2008 BMW 335I, to replace the Angle eye bulbs

The 2014 CB500X's stock headlight is quite ordinary. This headlight however is vastly superior - actually feels like I can now see far enough ahead to be safe.

Upgrading to an LED over the stock halogen made a phenomenal difference in night riding...it's a total joy. As for this specific lamp, I'm very pleased. I previously had the R2, which worked well enough, but R3's upper/lower LED design definitely works better with a stock round reflector. It takes some tilt adjustment to align the output properly (this is a very important step), but once you have it set...it's just awesome. I do wish the mounting ring and locking thread were made of metal, or of better-quality plastic, but I've had no problems so far. Lastly, the notion that an LED lamp should not be used in a halogen reflector is completely not applicable with the R3. Using this upper/lower design, it works flawlessly.

The install was very simple on my 2000 r1100rt. And the light output is very good, I added LED driving lights this season too, so the combination makes me feel so much safer at night (We have a lot of deer in the area I ride in).

First, fantastic support and quick response! Second, shipping was very quick- long trip from FL up to WA. Ordered these on a Friday, received on Monday. As for installation, piece of cake on a Kawasaki Concours 1400. No mods necessary, just truly plug and play. Since I've read and seen so many LEDs on various bikes including mine and how there are other lower cost lights, I decided to go with something a bit more but also where the lights are more focused but also have a good spread in high and low beam! Will not hesitate to buy again or recommend!

Installed in a new 701 Husky and was skeptical that it would fit. On this bike the plug housing needs a little modification to separate the plug from the bulb holder. Once the new plug is installed in the light housing it has some movement, not much and I was able to use it to my advantage. When I used the light the first time the low beam was very low and high beam was above the road , way too high . Second night I put a small soft rubber on top of the rear of the bulb causing the front tip of the bulb to raise. This caused the low beam to move higher and the high beam is now right on top of the low beam, really transformed the lighting on this bike.

Advmonster service was top notch and the bulb was an easy installation in my DR-650. Conspicuality is considerably increased
