I installed these in my 2016 Bandit 1250S. I had to make spacers to allow the spring clip to hold the bulb snugly in the headlight. The wire lead is too short between the bulb and ballast, making it difficult to mount the ballast securely. Otherwise it looks to be a great LED bulb. Light output is great and it works properly with the headlight reflector, putting light exactly where it should be.

This bulb is amazingly bright and very easy to install! The heat dissipation thru the metal braids is a fantastic idea and keeps the all weather seal for the headlight case! I have had another manufacture bulb that required the fan on the back to run all the time and the weather cap to be open. This caused condensation and dust to enter the housing, clouding the lens slightly. I would have definitely chosen these bulbs to save the degrading of the inside lens. Looking forward to any future applications and advances! Thanks

Installed this on a 2004 BMW R1150RT.
Just my thought, but the stock lighting on my RT is less than what I'd call "adequate". The halogen H7 bulb draws a lot of power for the amount of light it puts out.
Decided to give this LED replacement a try. Man - what a difference - and at less than half the amperage draw!!
Will have to get the high beam upgrade in the future. It took some doing to get the housing cover configured for the flexible heat sink, but that's only because it already takes some doing to even get to the headlight on an RT!!
Well worth the time, money and work spent on the upgrade. I'd recommend this LED replacement to anyone with an RT.
If you want to improve the lighting on your BMW - get this LED light!!

I had HID's in the 2009 KLR, I tried several different sets of LED's with very poor results. Decent light out put but scattered light, no focused beam patterns, high or low. So I decided to give this kit a try and there was a 90 day guarantee if not happy with the kit. First, the light output is not quite a bright as my HID's were. They are close but not quite as bright. Light temp is spot on just like the HID's, very white light. Beam pattern: Low beam has the OEM style cutoff and the spread of light is excellent, just like OEM, or very close. High beam is also excellent, throws a good focused beam right where its supposed to be. Like a 30 degree spot forward. So far so good on this kit. The instant on is where I am most happy. When turning on high beam (HID) it took about 10+ seconds before it was full brightness. That made for a lot of frustration waiting for max brightness. Many times I needed to flash the high beam (HID) for safety reasons and or needed instant light in situations that the HID did not provide due to the slow run to max brightness. LED's are instant brightness. So this kit gets a 4 star out of 5 stars from me. The lack of a proper H7 plastic spacer that allows the LED to be securely mounted is missing. I had to
make a spacer so the bulb stays tight in the housing. There is just too much space to fill in between the LED base and the headlight housing to keep the LED firm in the socket. I ordered from Amazon a H7 plastic spacer kit that I will use. My original H7 spacers are long gone so adding this to the LED kits would be a bonus.

Works great on my GS. No canbus errors, much more light than the halogen. High beam penetrates the night for a long distance.

Commuting in the dark has some risk. I put this bulb(s) in my R1200GS and have never felt safer on the road. The low beam has a nice pattern while the high beam shines much much further.
