I had a set of the original Model 30 spots (without the red trim on the ring) that lasted me probably 40K miles before I took a direct hit with a rock, which led to water intrusion and a failure. The new spot was an easy swap and seems to have a thicker glass 'lens', so hopefully will offer excellent protection. For the money, there is not a better system on the market in my opinion

I fitted the lights to the front of my R1200GS hoping to get some night time range. What a surprise it was when I went for my first night time ride. They provide just what I want, great improvement in range a good spread of light.
The lights were easy to install and the packaging that they arrived in was more than ample for their 1/2 way round the world. The service and shipping fees were great as well.
If you need a great pair of lights you cant go past ADV Monster lights.

I compared brands for months before I decided on these. Got 2 of them and mounted on the sides of the headlight using the lower headlight mount. Wired through a relay, direct from the battery and controlled by the stock high beam switch. Because of how they're mounted, it's a little tricky getting them aimed properly. If I were using a standard bar type mount, it would've been very simple. Still considering going with a fork type system. The output is impressive. To me, they have a slight blueish color but everyone sees things differently. A nice even usable light pattern. No dark spots that I've been able to detect. They would be effective as DRL's but should be aimed, roughly, the same height as the bikes low beam or put on a dimmer. I think any higher is too much for on coming traffic. You WILL be noticed with these. A good product and a good price. Thanks ADV.

This is the second pair of lights I have purchased from ADVMonster. Both have been model 30 spots for my touring bikes. I purchased the first set and was very happy with the ease of fit/install. They really function as auxiliary lights for daytime use.
My second set was recently purchased for a new BMW K1600GT. I haven't had the bike out at dusk yet (winter/health) but I know these will be perfect. Also installed with lights was a HEX EZCan. I can modulate these lights with turn signals, use overtake brights to pulse, and tie them in with the horn (flash when active). Overall a great purchase at ta very reasonable price. Yes, I also own a couple sets of a very expensive brand - I'll stick with my ADV's here on out.

A great price and value you can't beat, rivals all the best in its class.

Had these on my R1200GS for 5 years. When I swapped them to my new F700GS, I realized one of them was very dim. So I purchased this on as a replacement. Nothing lasts forever but these are very good

I purchased these lights to replace the cheap conventional driving lights I'd fitted to my Buell Ulysses a few years back. They have much less current draw and 10X the light; they're a massive improvement and appear to be well-made.

This model does a great job during the night and you really see the difference. The lighting is perfect! I think stronger than this would be too much for the drivers who comes in the opposite direction.
Also they are easy to fix and they look good.

I installed two of these lights on a R1200GS using the Denali light mount which puts them up under the turn signals to create the 'triangle of light', and to supplement the already fantastic original LED headlight. They are bright enough during the daylight hours to make people look twice. I set them up to cross-over each other but to shine down onto the road similar to the dipped headlight. At night they do a great job of lighting the area in front while staying low enough not to dazzle oncoming traffic or cars in front of me, leaving the full beam to light the areas above that. They do reach much further than the headlight when shining straight ahead rather than down at the blacktop.

They have narrow beam , exactly what I was looking for.
