As a former ADVMonster customer I had a need for better lighting in my 37 Pontiac hotrod. The existing 7" lights were plastic woth poor pattern. I upgraded the lights to better glass units that had a better pattern, but the halogen bulbs were lacking.
My concern was that the '37's lights are totally enclosed and I feared having the LED's overheat. John assured me that the Native H4 he has on display has been running inside a sealed mason jar for a long time without any problem.
Installation was easy and the difference is literally day and night! Cutoff line is crisp and clean!
Great product and great company to deal with.

I measured current draw at about 2.5 Amps at 12.5 volts. This means the unit is drawing a bit over 30W. The claim is 25W, that's close enough. Many LEDs offered for sale claim a much higher power than they actually draw.

I've written a review an would like to add that this all in one unit with the fan on the front did take a bit of widening the hole into the reflector housing as the bulb has the head sink built into the sides to help cooling thus making it a wider bulb.
One thing for sure it is MUCH brighter an much more noticeable than the standard halogen H4 making it a lot safer in my book.

Got it today and installed it an there lies the caveat. My particular bike Vespa GL200 the bulb housing is made to barely fit (width wise) an H4 so..after testing it before install (it blinded me in the daylight by golly) I had to ream out the hole to accommodate the width difference (careful not to touch the flat side on the bottom that holds the bulb correctly in place) as the sides of this bulb is part of the heat sink. As far as fan noise goes I could only feel the slight vibration in the grips. It being cold now they didn't even kick in til I went to high beam.
These bulbs make one helluva difference believe me you'll be seen as now they're just as bright as any auto/truck headlight beam. The cut-off is perfect not in any oncoming traffics eyes an they really light up the road. Nice bright white just about the same 'throw' as the halogens but much much brighter.
Can't recommend these enough you will not regret them.

I had to open the hole significantly to get this bulb to fit. After that, the alignment is correct and the bulb produces a nice pattern and is very bright. You will hear the fan when the engine is not running.

My bike only has 300 watts of electrical output. With fuel injection eating up a lot of those electrons I need to adjust my demand elsewhere so I can use heated gear as needed. This saves 25 watts and is a true drop in replacement...no cutting needed. Man, it's bright too!

I have purchased four of these for different bikes and they have all performed flawlessly. Increase vision over stock bulbs tremendously and I have yet to annoy any oncoming drivers into bright lighting me so I know they are casting correctly onto the road. Will buy more in the future for other bikes. Quite easily one of the cheapest and best upgrades I've ever purchased for my motorcycles.

This little light will light up the world, it really does the job for me. I have more light on the road and not as much draw on the electrical system. With this led I can use my heated jacket and heated grips at the same time. Before I could only use one or the other

Love it. Il Drive cb500x 2014 and it's perfect for my bike. Very strong White light. Il had to adjust it down a Little bit.

This was a great upgrade to my /7. Didn't require re-aiming the headlight, gives great lighting, and I can tell from my reflection off the car(s) in front of me that I am much more visible than I was before. Remove that metal cap thing from the center of your headlight before installation on an airhead! My only gripe (small) is that it's a tight fit between the back of the plug and the fuse panel, however my plug is not the stock one so YMMV. Anyway, it's a perfect match with my Model 30 spotlights and Motorrad Elektrik LED tail light.
